I NEED HELP!! I Love the Stampin’ Up! Heirloom Kit, but where are the instructions?? When I spotted this Kit Online, I knew I was going to love it. When it arrived I realised that there are only instructions for two of the cards. That’s fine if you are a seasoned crafter, but for a newer crafter, it might be a challenge. Fear not, I am here to help.

In today’s video, further down the page, I show you the contents and how to make up the first card. The instructions in the box show how to make the second card too, but not the others. In this post you will see images showing what items are needed for each card. I have placed the, left to right, in the order that they are layered.

So, if you are ready, here are the remainder of the cards. I have completed them in the order they appear on the instruction sheet.

In my video, I mention that if items have been turned into a tag, I need to add something. This is necessary for me to make sense of that. For all of the ‘tags’ in this kit, I have added some Linen Thread.

For all of the vellum die cuts, I would have a look at where the pieces are being placed BEFORE adding adhesive. I think some of the suggested placements in the kit are a little odd as the adhesive may show through.

I used Dimensionals for both the sentiment AND the single flower head.

You may be able to spot that the butterfly overlaps the sentiment a little. Just be careful that the Dimensionals on the butterfly are placed to allow this.

Again, for this card you need to be a little careful about where you place Dimensionals. I only used one Dimensional for the blue butterfly to allow the overlap.

It wasn’t until I made this card up that I realised the black and white piece is a frame, with a plain centre. I pushed this out so I could use it later.

These are all the items left over in the kit. Plenty to make two additional cards. I grabbed a piece of Thick Basic White and a couple of blender pens and made these cards.

This one is blended and stamped with Pretty In Pink. With hindsight, I used far too much ink for the background. A lighter touch would have been better.

I used a much lighter hand on this card, using Pecan Pie ink. Both of the extra cards have stamped butterflies. I used Pecan Pie and Pretty In Pink card with Memento Ink.
I hope you found this information interesting and helpful. Do remember to watch the video too.

So good to see you crafting again. by that i mean I haven’t seen you in quite a while. Your videos don’t pop up a great deal in the past 6 months.
I need to get this kit ( you are an enabler!!). it was so feminine. I send very very few masculine cards. Maybe I should change that!
Good choices as to where you put adhesive. That can be a challenge, from time to time.
Thanks again for a thoughtful video. I’ll make it a point to search for your crafting video, regularly.

Hi Sandi
I have been a bit quiet for the past few months. I am now crafting just for me, so I don’t post as often as I did. I love this kit, it is one of the best SU has done for quite a while in my opinion. Lxx
