Celebrate a 74th Birthday with Simple Stories Happy New Year. Last week we celebrated my husband’s Birthday. I fell in love with him when he was 41. Now he is 74, and I still love him. How can we have been together for so long?
I should start by reminding you that he HATES having his photo taken, so I was kind this year. All I did was take pictures of the main courses we chose when I took him out to celebrate. We went to one of our favourite local restaurants. It is never cheap, but the food is amazing and the staff are always fantastic.
I needed to use some special paper for this layout. I remembered that I had bought the Simple Stories Happy New Year mini kit in a clearance sale. Happily I found it and it is perfect to record this special day.
Many of the stickers work well for any celebration. I just pulled the ones that didn’t talk about New Year. I trimmed some of them to make them occasion appropriate.
I need to add the journaling still. I like to take my time on that. Rushing can lead to mistakes. I hope you have enjoyed this layout and will take a look at the video. Remember Simple Stories Happy New Year can be used for other occasions.
