Join the Fun: International Scrapbooking Weekend 2025. Are You Ready for International Scrapbook Weekend? Well, are you? It is next weekend, 3rd and 4th May and I am hoping to have some videos ready for you to watch over the weekend. At the moment I am not planning to go LIVE as I think I need a little practise again before I introduce that level of stress into my life, but a few quick videos are definitely a possibility.

I have (I hope) finished setting up my streaming software again and sorted out the cameras. This took a little longer than I had hoped, but I think we are there now and I am excited to start back with some crafting videos.

I recently watched a video from Wendy Cranford on how running a crafting business, especially during these challenging economic times, can result in you losing the joy that was the reason you started in the first place. This really resonated with me and I totally understand what she said and was interested by how much her experiences mirror my own. It is encouraging to hear I am not alone with these feelings. I have always admired Wendy, her dedication and honesty about what she does is so refreshing. I encourage you to take a look at her video, it isn’t too long, but is very insightful.

I should explain the photos I added at the start of this post. The first one is a picture of the storage I have for individual sheets of Scrapbooking paper. I sort these by manufacturer and collection at the moment, but this may change as I start getting back into regular scrapbooking and find that I need to sort in another way. I think this is especially possible when I have used some of this ridiculous amount of stash that I have collected. The second picture is all the 12 x 12 coloured cardstock I have in my stash, which I have finally sorted into colour order, and It makes me so happy to see it like that (other than how much I actually have!)

This final image is a picture of the last layout I made. I finished this yesterday and it records the picture of a Goldfinch I took in early March. It is almost impossible to see the Goldfinch, but that is pretty much the point of the story I have recorded. The paper is some old stash from Vicki Boutin. I hope to ‘see’ you during the International Scrapbooking Weekend.

Thank you for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed your time here
