Epic Return: Celebratory Sips After One Year Break. This is the first crafting video I have made in almost a year. I can hardly believe how the time has flown by. But I am hoping that this will be the start of my return to sharing my creativity. I should make it clear that although I am back with Stampin’ Up! I am NOT selling or building a Team, I am purely enjoying the community and being creative. If you want to buy SU products, please drop me an email and I will happily give you details of some demos I really rate.

But back to my creative project. This is a box I have made for my good friend, Kate Bolt (find her website HERE). We meet up as often as we can and just chat about life and nothing. It is the most perfect friendship you could imagine and all because of Stampin’ Up! When we meet up we often give each other small gifts and a handmade card. This is the box I have made for the gift I have for her today.

I have included a video of how to make the box below, but I am also sharing photos of the card and tag that I made to go with the gift. No video for these, but I definitely wanted to share them with you.

First the Card. I wanted this to show case this wonderful paper, so I chose to feature three of the designs. The card base pulled the Timid Tiger from the paper, with a layer of Secret Sea before the layers of paper. Although some of the designs in the papers can be die cut, I decided to fussy cut instead and layered three glasses of amazing cocktails over a strip of one of the small pattern designs. Adding the tiny ‘To Us!’ stamp and some of the new InColor Flat Pearls finished the card off well.

Now the Tag. I LOVE the Tailor Made Tag dies, so pulled these and used the same small pattern paper as the strip I used on the card for the top layer. The reinforced hole was die cut from one of the glasses in the same paper. I added this to Daffodil Delight and Basic White Layers that I had trimmed down. Some Linen Thread to attach the tag to the box and I was done.

And this is everything together, such a great little gift idea all using the same paper pack and a few pieces of card. I’m sure Kate will like the finished result. Let’s hope so anyway.
Video Tutorial Time
The finished box measures 5.5 x 5.5 x 2cm and is the perfect size for a small bar of L’Occitane soap. You will need a piece of card measuring 16 x 11.5cm. Score both the long AND short edges at 1, 3, 8.5 and 10.5cm, then trim as shown in the video. For the paper (I used the Celebratory Sips Paper from the upcoming Annual Catalogue) you will need two pieces cut at 5 x 5cm and 4 cut at 5 x 1.5cm.
Thank you for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed your time here
