#SimpleStamping Saturday with New City Sights Kit from Stampin’ Up! I love a kit, they are perfect when you need a quick card AND when you are starting out as a crafter. The price is great for a new crafter and if space is limited, they take up almost no space at all and are easy to tidy away.
The City Sights Kit has the added bonus of being perfect for men, and we all know just how difficult they are to craft for!
circle card
The first card uses the spotty stamp, so is really simple as a starting point, no worries if you mis-stamp a little. I love that it is also a focal point for the card, simply by being a circle. Add the corrugated layer and the printed sentiment and you are done. Oh, not forgetting the adhesive backed dots!
thinking of you
I think this has to be my favourite of the two cards. I love the stamp and will be using it on future cards I am sure. My tip for this card is to put the Basic Beige die cut onto a dark background before you try to stamp so you can see the edges. I used the sentiment die cut sheet, which worked perfectly.
I would love you to let me know which card you prefer and whether you will be getting the kit. Remember that many of our kits are ‘while stocks last’.
