Creating Your Patterned Paper
Materials You’ll Need:
- Stampin’ Up! InColors ink pads
- Love This Moment Stamp Set
- Plain cardstock (I used 12 x 12 Basic White)
- Acrylic blocks for mounting stamps
Step-by-Step Guide:
- Choose Your Base: Start with a piece of plain cardstock in a neutral colour like white or cream.
- Select Your Stamps: Pick out a few stamps from the Love This Moment set starting with the largest (this is a technique that Shimelle Laine has used and I LOVE IT!).
- Ink It Up: Using the InColors ink pads, start stamping your chosen images onto the cardstock. Try to mis up the colours so you don’t have all of the same colour in one area. Remember to stamp off the edge of he paper for a more ‘intentional’ look.
- Layer and Repeat: Build up your design by layering stamps and using all of the new InColors filling in any spaces with smaller images.
- Embrace Imperfections: Handmade paper has character, so don’t worry about getting everything perfect
