Coffee and Card LIVE REPLAY New Layers of Beauty Bundle from Stampin’ Up! I really could not make my mind up about what to use on this week’s YouTube Live, but I settled on the new Mega Bundle, Layers of Beauty. Why Mega? Well, as well as a stamp set and dies, there are also Masks, and they are AMAZING.

During the live I made two cards, basically the same, but one included stamping and the other was just using the masks. This one is the stamped one, using Tuxedo Black for the stamping.

I used Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy and Garden Green inks for the colouring. I used the large Blending Brush, but it is much easier with the small one, as I found out after the Live finished.

This version had no stamping on the floral image at all, I love how soft the result is. For the sentiment, I used the new Simply Said stamp set (available from 1st May). It is heat embossed in white and die cut using the Everyday Details Dies.

I layered the floral on Basic White card that I had embossed with the So Swirly embossing folder, which is HUGE! I mean SERIOUSLY HUGE, it is the full size of the large Cut & Emboss cutting plates. I added a Daffodil Delight Layer on a Night of Navy card base.

After the Live I had to just keep going, first with this Pebbled Path version, using just Pebbled Path ink with the masks. I saw this idea at OnStage in Rotterdam last month and had to replicate it. There is no stamping for the flowers, just masking.

This would make a perfect Sympathy Card with the soft warm grey tones. I added some of the 2023 – 2025 InColor Dots, which I love and have a secret stash of!

But there’s more! I thought I would try using all the new ink colours on one last project. I stamped the image in Basic Beige and then used ALL of the new InColors for the florals. The roses are simply layers of Pretty in Pink adding more and more detail and intensity of colour.

The small flowers are Petunia Pop with Peach Pie centres and the leaves are Summer Splash and Shy Shamrock. I am really pleased with how it turned out. Layered on a Basic Beige card base, with Peach Pie and the same Basic White So Swirly embossed piece.
