#SimpleStamping version
No surprises, my first card uses a Basic White Note Card and Envelope. I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black, but using a slightly different ink pad than you would expect (watch the video for more on that). I coloured the image very simply with Watercolor Pencils from Assortment 1. For a smooth finish, I used a Blender Pen, being careful not to ‘pill’ the card and to clean the tip of the pen between colours. The tiny foliage stamp for the envelope finishes the project. Quick, easy and really pretty. What more could you want.
first stepped up version
Well, if you want to step the project up a little, you could add some sheets of Basic White, both Thick and the smooth version, some Blends, Designer Paper and an Embellishment. Oh, and did I mention the stamp set works with the Modern Oval Punch? This makes it so easy to get some dimension into your project. Simply stamp the image on a scrap of Basic White Card and then punch the picture out. Pop this up on Dimensionals for that little ‘extra’. I added some of the Ombre Matte Decorative Dots in place of the dot on the stamp. Layer everything on Stargazing Designer Paper and you are done.
Further Stepped Up Version
I had such fun making this version. There isn’t a huge amount of difference between this and the previous version until you take a second look. I used Petal Pink Card for the base, but the other differences are more subtle. You may be able to spot them better in this close up.
Can you spot them? I heat embossed the sentiment using Black Embossing Powder and added some Fine-tip Glue to the oranges to give them a sheen. I was careful to add the glue to the two lower fruit to leave a gap between them, rather than treating them as one image. This helps to keep the 3D feel.
