How I Made My OnStage Swaps – Simply Zinnia and Trusty Tools. Originally I had planned to NOT make any swaps for OnStage, but I was taking some gifts for specific people. But that all changed when I discovered that using an Uninked Craft White Ink pad and adding Memento Tuxedo Black ink to it would be a GAME CHANGER for stamping in a really black black. Seriously you need to try this.

In the Sweet Thoughts Memories & More Card Pack there is an image of a paint brush with flowers growing out if it. I loved this idea, so decided to recreate it for my swaps. As this is also the time when we know that some items will be retiring, I decided to use the new Online Exclusive, Simply Zinnia, stamp set.

I stamped the single flower and then masked it, using our Masking Paper, before stamping the paint brush from Trusty Tools (which IS carrying over!). I coloured the images using Stampin’ Blends and then layered the image on Berry Burst or Pumpkin Pie.

For some added texture, I added a layer of embossed Basic White using the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder (which will be retiring) and layered this on another piece of either Berry Burst or Pumpkin Pie card.

The image is added using Dimensionals and then the whole piece is layered onto a Thick White card base. I made 48 in total and they all went, the Berry Burst was by far the most popular, which I found interesting as I am actually not a great fan of Pumpkin Pie either!
