#SimpleStamping Saturday with Flight & Airy and Heartfelt Hellos. Sale-a-Bration is in full swing, and the stunning Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper (DSP) and versatile Heartfelt Hellos stamp set are a match made in cardmaking heaven! Today, I’m sharing three projects using these delightful products, ranging from a super simple stunner to two designs with a touch more flair. So, grab your paper, inks, and stamps, and let’s take flight!
#Simplestamping version

Sometimes, simplicity shines brightest. This card proves that with just a few key elements, you can create something truly captivating.
- Base: Basic White Note Card and Envelope
- Layer 1: Flight & Airy DSP – Choose a pattern with a watercolour background design.
- Sentiment: Heartfelt Hellos stamp set, stamped in Pecan Pie ink onto the DSP.
- Embellishments: A narrow strip of Pecan Pie DSP and a fussy cut bird, also from the DSP.

I always add something to the envelope of my #SimpleStamping projects, so this week I added some of the DSP to lift the envelope to another level.
First Stepped Up Version

Ready to add some dimension and additional products? This card adds a punched element and some ribbon to make this a slightly special version.
- Base: I used Misty Moonlight for my card base. This comes into its own when you see the card ‘in person’.
- Layer: The same Flight & Airy DSP as my previous version.
- Punched element: I used the 2″ Circle Punch from the Online Exclusives to punch white cardstock. I added a fussy cut bird.
- Embellishment: I added some Pecan Pie Ribbon in a Z behind the circle.
- Sentiment: Heartfelt Hellos stamp set, stamped in Pecan Pie ink again, straight onto the DSP.

Tips:
- Use Stampin’ Seal+ to add the ribbon to the back of the punched circle. This is strong enough to hold the ribbon in place.
- Adding the Circle and ribbon to the card with Dimensionals adds literal and metaphoric dimension.
- Experiment with different colours of ribbon and ink.
further stepped up version

This card combines the softness of watercolours with the bold patterns of the DSP for a unique look. I accept you need to enjoy fussy cutting for this one, but it really is worth the effort
- Base: Again, I used Misty Moonlight for my card base.
- Layer: The same Flight & Airy DSP as my previous versions. I added fussy cut birds and branches from the DSP, using a combination of Dimensionals and Multi-purpose Liquid Glue.
- Sentiment: This time I stamped the sentiment on Basic White card before fussy cutting it and adding it with Dimensionals.

These are just a few ideas to get you started with the Flight & Airy DSP and Heartfelt Hellos stamp set. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different colours, techniques, and embellishments to create cards that reflect your unique style. Remember, the sky’s the limit when it comes to your creativity!
