Featuring Everyday Details from Stampin’ Up! After the Christmas and New Year hiatus, #SimpleStamping Saturday is back. This week I am featuring the Everyday Details Bundle. I urge you to have a look at this bundle, even if you only look at the AMAZING dies.
#Simplestamping version
Currently in the Europe the Basic White Note Cards and Envelopes are out of stock, so I chose Very Vanilla instead. I simply stamped the bird’s nest in Crumb Cake, using second generation ink on the bottom left of the envelope.
I coloured the nest using colours from both of the Watercolour Pencils Sets. I used the same colouring on all three versions of the card as it just works.
First stepped up version
My first stepped up version adds some Pool Party and Very Vanilla card stock. I added some ink blending behind the die cut image and wanted it to look like Pool Party. This was not as easy as you might think. Pool Party on Very Vanilla turns very green, so instead I used Coastal Cabana.
I added a bow to one side of the die cut, using the Pool Party Grosgrain Ribbon from the Annual Catalogue.
Second Stepped up version
My final version is a fancy fold card and adds some Crumb Cake card for contrast. The stamping and blending are as before, but I also added some of the FREE Sale-a-Bration Opaque Faceted Gems in Pool Party. The gems help to bring the fun fold together,
