Trucking Along Upscaled for a very Special Person. What do you do when you hear that your niece has just passed her Driving Test? Make a special card of course!
As soon as I heard that Kate had passed her test, of course I needed to make a card. But with what? What should it look like? The nearest stamp set I had for a vehicle was the Trucking Along set, so I grabbed that and made the truck more Sophisticate(d) by embossing the body in Gold and the wheels in Black. Kate loves Houndstooth, so I grabbed the Abundant Beauty Masks and some Versamark ink. Before long I had white heat embossing on black for a perfect Kate style Houndstooth.
The Good Feelings Stamp Set gave me the perfect greetings for the card. I heat embossed those in gold too, before die cutting them with the Stylish Shapes dies. Add a layer of Gold Foil and some Brushed Metallic Dots and I had the perfect card for Kate. You can find her on Instagram HERE
