#SimpleStamping Saturday with Sending Cheer from Stampin’ Up! Well this has been a week to get to the end of. If you don’t follow me on Instagram you may not know that I have had a few dental issues this week. The main impact being that I wasn’t able to hold my usual YouTube Live. But never mind about that. Let’s focus on today’s #SimpleStamping Saturday projects.
#SimpleStamping Version
So, this week I’m totally obsessed with the Sending Cheer Stamp set and dies. My absolute favourite is the Gingerbread Man – stamping him is a piece of cake. Just grab two ink pads and get creative. I went with Pecan Pie for the body and Pebbled Path for the face. Oh, and don’t forget the sentiment, also in Pecan Pie ink. Remember, always jazz up the envelope too! I went all in and had a cheeky Gingerbread Man popping in on a corner. Pure cuteness!
First Stepped up version
I spruced up the design by throwing in some Cardstock sheets. I went with Poppy Parade for the card base, super perfect for the Christmas vibes. And for the stamping I kept with Basic White, but added a touch of Basic Black for that cool contrast.
I really love the Black and White Gingham ribbon from the Annual Catalogue. It’s perfect for Christmas projects! I decided to jazz up the front of the card by adding a strip of this ribbon, and I even knotted a little piece for that extra flair. To complete the look, I added a few of the Gems from the Loose Holly Gems & Sequins.
Further Stepped Up Version
I just had to add some of the Merry Bold & Bright Designer Series Paper to my final version. I also wanted to embrace the Polaroid look that is still so popular at the moment, so die cut a piece of the Basic White card with the largest of the Stylish Shapes squares.
As I was die cutting, I used the matching dies for the Gingerbread Man and popped him and the frame up on Dimensionals. Yes, those are some more of the Gems on his front for buttons.
I stamped the sentiment on the frame and tied another piece of the Black and White ribbon round the frame, but coloured it with a Dark Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blend first. Definitely high on the cuteness scale!
