#SimpleStamping Saturday – Simply Sparkling Bundle by Stampin’ Up! Earlier this week Stampin’ Up! launched their newest Online Exclusive Products. I ordered these immediately they were available and they arrived in time for me to film today’s project. I even managed to film an Unboxing Video showing all the new items.
#SimpleStamping Version
My #SimpleStamping version of today’s project uses all the fruit in the stamp set to make this fun Birthday Card. Simply stamped in Memento Ink, I added colour with Assortment 1 of the Watercolour Pencils. I love these as a simple colouring tools, they are inexpensive but so versatile. I love to move the pigment around with a Colour Lifter. This gives a really polished finish.
First Stepped Up Version
For my first stepped up version I added some cardstock and patterned paper, this time from the Merry Bold and Bright paper pack. This is such a versatile pack of paper, so please don’t think of it as only being for Christmas.
I coloured the fruit in exactly the same colour as for the first version, but this time die used Stampin’ Blends and cut the shapes using the matching dies. I fussy cut the ‘Best Ever’ sentiment and added all those piece with Dimensionals before adding some Iridescent Adhesive-backed Discs. The Discs are part of the same Merry Bold and Bright Suite so match the paper perfectly.
Second Stepped Up Version
My second stepped up version adds lots more cardstock and an extra set of dies, so is great if you already have more product. I also added some Heat Embossing to the mix with both sentiments Heat Embossed in Black.
The rest of the project is pretty much as the previous version, which is, after all, the point of #SimpleStamping Saturday. My aim with these projects has always been to show how your crafting can develop as you get more product and feel more confident about trying new techniques.
