Coffee and Card LIVE REPLAY with Stampin’ Up! Jolly Words. Happily I was well enough this morning to hold my usual Coffee and Card Live over on YouTube. I am still a little croaky and sniffly, so I hope you will excuse this on today’s video.
I had to check the Inventory Report first thing today to check that the stamp set I wanted to use was still available, because some have already sold out! If you are after a particular stamp set, or any other item, in the retiring Mini Catalogue, please get it NOW while it is still in stock!
But back to today’s cards. I added the Stylish Shapes Dies to the mix, along with some of the Merry Bold & Bright Paper and Beary Christmas Papers. My first card was actually the most involved because I needed to extend one of the square dies for the Ho, Ho, Ho card. It only just fitted, but I loved that you can extend the dies as you want. Some Beary Christmas paper (with added sparkle thanks to some Wink of Stella), ribbon and Embellishments and you have a really quick card ready to go. I loved the addition of the Adhesive Backed Glitter Sequins, which have now, sadly, sold out!
Next up was the Joy card, which was so quick to make. just stamping on the largest square from the Stylish Shapes, a bit of colouring and then just some layering with paper and ribbon.
I added some more of the Adhesive Backed Glitter Sequins, but you could replace them with some of the Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems, which are still available.
Last up was the Tis the Season card, using the largest circle Stylish Shape and some more of the Merry Bold & Bright paper. I had intended using the Crushed Curry and white star pattern, but I love the look of the diagonal stripes under the light bulbs.
This was probably the quickest card to make. Stamping the image in Blueberry Bushel, colouring the bauble in Light Pool Party. Add the paper to the card front, then the ribbon and the sentiment and, other than an embellishment, you are done! I don’t think I have made three cards on a Live so quickly before.
