Coffee and Card LIVE REPLAY with Stampin’ Up! Christmas Classics. On today’s YouTube Live I shared four ideas for Christmas Cards made with the Christmas Classics Stamp Set (and a couple of the dies from the Bundle).

First up was a quick wreath card made using just two images and a sentiment. Shaded Spruce Holly Leaves, with some added glitter thanks to some Clear Wink of Stella. Such a great way to add some extra colour and subtle glitter.

Of course as it is Christmas, the holly needs berries, so i stamped these in Real Red. And at Christmas there is also no need for an excuse to add even more sparkle. Hence I added lots of Basic Rhinestones to the stamped berries.

Inspired by a card shared by my friend, the amazing Mikaela Titheridge, next up I shared a second wreath shaped card. This uses just two stamps and a couple of pieces of patterned paper, this card was so quick to assemble.

I stamped in Shaded Spruce both in full strength and then again in second generation. By the time I had finished there was quite a mess on the left of the card front. a narrow strip of paper, or two, soon covered that up. I added more Basic Rhinestones, but this time after I coloured them with a Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends.

I thought this next card would be my last, but I actually managed two more. This one uses some of the Joyful Specialty Paper for the background, calmed a little by the Pecan Pie paper die cut. A sentiment in the centre of the large die cut is the only stamping required.

I felt that the gap at the bottom of the card was just too large, so a Pecan Pie bow was the solution. Added with a few mini glue dots, it is an easy addition. The finishing touch was more gold!

So this really was the last card I made this morning. I used the other label die cut pair and die cut the background piece in some Gold Adhesive Backed Glimmer Paper. A sentiment in Gold Heat Embossing on Cherry Cobbler helped calm the gold glimmer.

I added some of the patterned paper to the front of my card base before adding the Glimmer Paper piece. Then I decided that I needed more sparkle (seriously!) so added some more Cherry Cobbler coloured Basic Rhinestones.
