#SimpleStamping Saturday with Meandering Meadow by Stampin’ Up! This week I am featuring the new Meandering Meadow Suite, which is currently only available for existing Demos, or added to a Starter Kit. It will be available to Customers on 7th November as one of the new Online Exclusives.
#SimpleStamping Version
One of the things I love about our Note Cards is that you can get 2 cards from one piece of 6×6 paper, simply by cutting an inch off the top or bottom. Then cut the large piece in half on the 6″ edge and the small piece in half to form 2 pieces 1/2″ wide and 6″ long. This is what I did for today’s #SimpleStamping card and then simply added the sentiment in Night of Navy ink.
For the envelope I simply stamped the wellington boots in Night of Navy and then moved ink around a little with some Clear Wink of Stella. That subtle glitter is perfect for the boots.
Stepped Up Version
My second card added full sheets of card in both Basic White and Night of Navy for the card base and mat. I stamped the sentiment on some smooth Basic White and then punched it out using the Double Oval Punch. For a softer look behind the sentiment, I coloured some Vellum with the Dark Night of Navy Stampin’ Blend and then punched that with the same punch.
A bit of ribbon behind the sentiment finished the card nicely.
Further Stepped Up Version
For my final version I used the large arch die from the Garden Meadow Bundle and due cut both Night of Navy and one of the papers and layered the two up. The Night of Navy has Dimensionals behind to give a little perspective. A heat embossed sentiment and some embellishments and the card was finished.
