#SimpleStamping Saturday – Fluffiest Friends and So Sincere. Are you ready for a cuteness overload? I LOVE the new Fluffiest Friends Stamp Set. This is not available for customers until 7th November, but is available for Demos to pre-order, I just had to share it with you.
My #SimpleStamping card is about as simple as you can get. Using Tuxedo Black, I stamped the little bird and the sentiment towards the bottom right corner of a Basic White Note Card. I then coloured the bird using Watercolour Pencils in Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie, before stamping the bird again on the envelope. Done! I did say it was simple,just make sure the ink is fully dry before you colour the image.
Next I grabbed a couple of circle punches, stamped the bird on one of these and punched a piece of the heart design from Daffodil Delight Designer Series Paper. I toyed with stamping the sentiment on the card base again, but decided to fussy cut it instead. The spritzing was done with a Pecan Pie Stampin’ Write Marker (this tied in with the addition of Pecan Pie Watercolour Pencil on the bird). This is a great way to lift a large area of white. A few Dimensionals and the card was done.
For my final version I used Stampin’ Blends for the colouring and then die cut the bird with the matching die from the Bundle. I added some colour to my card base with Daffodil Delight ink and a Blending Brush. The softness of the edges works perfectly with the little bird. Again, I fuss cut the sentiment and added this with Dimensionals.
I was going to just add the bird with Dimensionals, but decided it was a little plain, so I used some Linen Thread to add some detail to what would otherwise have been a very plain card. I hope you agree that this was a great addition. And that’s it. Three really quick cards to share with you.
