Coffee and Cards Live REPLAY – Festive & Fun from Stampin’ Up! Did you catch my YouTube Live last week when I used the Festive & Fun Stamp Set, pairing it with the Nested Essentials Dies and the Merry Bold & Bright Paper. The paper is currently on the Low Stock list, so if you want it, I suggest you get it sooner than later. It is perfect for both Christmas and NON Christmas projects.
My first card featured the Moose and one of the non Christmas designs; the rainbow stripe. I paired it with the Fa La La paper to reinforce the Christmas theme.
Some really quick colouring and some of the Iridescent Adhesive Backed Discs finished the card off. What I didn’t ‘see’, and now can’t unsee, is that the discs next to the Moose were perhaps not in the best place.
Next up was the Giraffe and another of the non Christmas designs of paper. I was thrilled that the giraffe fitted in the largest of the ‘diamond’ (I know it isn’t a true diamond shape!) dies.
Again, the colouring was really simple, no shading or subtle colouring required. The Pool Party ribbon and some more of those discs finished this card off.
Last up was the Rhino and those cute birds. I decided that I would add some less than subtle bling to this card, so added a Silver Glimmer Paper mat. Don’t worry, I gutted the paper before I used it and it rally is a perfect addition to the card.
This close up shows just how much ‘bling’ the Glimmer Paper adds, so there was no need to add any discs, but some Iridescent Ribbon was just enough, to off set the bling and bring the card together.
