#SimpleStamping Saturday – Gift of Giving. A little later than usual, for which I apologise. Something epic happened yesterday and I got so distracted that I forgot to finish posting this!! #SimpleStamping Version
I love that you can make a really cute card with so few supplies. All I used in our #SimpleStamping version today was a Basic White Note Card and Envelope, Memento Tuxedo Black ink, the Watercolour Pencils and a Stampin’ Blends Colour Lifter. This card is perfect to send to any family or friend.
Stepped Up Version
For my first stepped up version I exchanged Watercolour Pencils for Stampin’ Blends and added some full sheets of card. the layers of Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce really help to lift this project from being simple.
I couldn’t not add some of the Tinsel Gems from the Trio Pack. Technically this pack doesn’t include Azure Afternoon or Shaded Spruce, but the still work on this project and give it that “something extra”.
Further Stepped Up Version
At first sight you might think that, other than changing the location of the gems, this is the same card as the previous version. Well, not exactly.
Can you see all the fussy cut layers? I accept that I enjoy a bit of fussy cutting, but even if I didn’t, these are such easy shapes to cut, mostly being rectangles, so would make a good first project to have a go on. Will you have a go?
