Craft & Chat Live REPLAY – Supremely Awesome Stampin’ Up! Its Tuesday, so its time for more Live Crafting on YouTube. This week I chose to use the Supremely Awesome Stamp set, that I think I ordered by mistake, getting the numbers twisted. But, having received the stamp set, I felt I should use it at least once!
The first card I made used just one of the sentiments and the checked pattern. I decided to use the checked pattern to create a rainbow stripe using colours from the Brights Colour Family. I set everything off by layering on Basic Black and adding a white heat embossed sentiment.
My finishing touch was to add some Classic Matte Dots around the sentiment to help to bring the eye to that. With a bright background, I find that I need a trick or two to bring the eye in to focus where you want it to.
Next up I used the Pizza Chef as my focal point, stamped in Tuxedo Black and coloured with Stampin’ Blends. Other than the fussy cutting, this is a pretty straightforward element to create.
I had already selected the paper I wanted to use, from the Brights DSP 6 x 6″ Pack. I layered the Poppy Parade paper on Basic White and then on a Poppy Parade card base. A piece of Black and White Gingham Ribbon and a sentiment completed the card.
For my final card I wanted to use a few more pizza images, without the card screaming ‘pizza’. I chose to use Pumpkin Pie as my main colour, using some of the same Brights DSP 6 x 6″ Pack for my papers. I scored the card to make a simple fold-back card.
As a surprise element, I added a piece of Basic White card inside, which was covered in pizza slices coloured with lots of other Brights card. The ‘You’ve got a Pizza my heart’ sentiment was a final touch for the recipient to enjoy.
