This sympathy card is made using Masterfully Made paper, the Layering Leaves stamp set and Bough punch, and the Something Fancy Stamp Set.
The Masterfully Made paper is a beautiful collection of, mostly bright designs, but if you select the papers carefully there are some designs that work really well for this type of card. Layering Leaves is a great stamp set and Bough punch combine to make a duo of products that can be used for all kinds of projects depending on the ink colours you use. I kept all the leaves in Lost Lagoon. The Something Fancy Stamp Set includes a variety of sentiments, and includes this perfect Sympathy sentiment.
This sympathy card is a beautiful and thoughtful way to show your support to someone who is grieving. The designs I chose from the Masterfully Made paper are elegant and understated, but not too depressing..
Here are some additional tips for making a sympathy card:
- Use a soft colour palette.
- Choose a sentiment that is appropriate for the situation.
- Keep the card simple and elegant.
- Add a personal touch, such as a handwritten message.
