Craft & Chat Live REPLAY with Liz – Stampin’ Up! Trucking Along Bundle. The Trucking Along stamp set from Stampin’ Up! is a great way to create masculine greetings cards. The set includes a variety of images to use with the main truck image, as well as some fun sentiments that are perfect for any occasion. If you opt for the Bundle, you will also get the Truck Builder Punch, while saving 10% on the overall cost.
In this blog post, I will show you how I used the Trucking Along stamp set to create two different masculine greetings cards.
Card 1: Classic Truck Card
This card features a classic pickup truck with lots of ‘white space’. The truck is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Very Vanilla card. I coloured the truck using Boho Blue and Lost Lagoon, then added the side panel, coloured in Crumb Cake, and the buckets of flowers. The background is Designer Series Paper from Let’s Go Fishing and the label is Pebbled Path die cut with the Nested Essentials. The card is finished off with a few InColor Dots.
Card 2: Trucking For Christmas
This card features a Real Red truck with a Christmas Tree in the back. Again, the truck is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Very Vanilla card and this time coloured using Real Red Blends. is stamped on the background using Shaded Spruce for the tree, I added a Pebbled Path ‘road’. The sentiment is stamped in Real Red directly onto the background. Again, the paper is from the Let’s Go Shipping Designer Series paper. The card is finished off with a few black Sparkle Gems.
Tips
- For a more realistic look, use a blend the colours for the trucks together to add shading to the truck.
- Use a variety of Designer Series Papers to create a unique look for your cards.
- Add a few rhinestone gems to your cards for a touch of sparkle.
The Trucking Along stamp set is a versatile set that can be used to create a variety of greetings cards, including those always difficult, masculine cards. With a little creativity, you can easily create cards that are perfect for any occasion.
