Craft & Chat Live REPLAY with Liz – Stampin’ Up! Little Dreamers Bundle. Earlier today I held my weekly YouTube Live. I really enjoy this time I spend with crafters from across the world. We just hang out and chat while I make a few projects using the Bundle I have selected for that week. This week it was projects that used Little Dreamers as the main focus.
My first card used this cute calf, all curled up having ‘Jumped Over The Moon!’ This was such a quick card to put together once I had done the die cutting. Construction was simply a question of adhering the elements around the vellum circle, to give me areas I could add adhesive to the reverse of the vellum. I finished the card off with a few Iridescent Pearls, which mirrored the 3D Basics Embossing folder I had used. Balmy Blue is my idea of the perfect Baby Boy Blue.
OK, let me say it before anyone mentions it. I got my colouring a little mixed up on this card . I should have reversed the colouring on the lion’s body so the litter shade was on the belly. As one of my lovely viewers commented, it looks like the lion is wearing a onesy! The paper is from the Bright & Beautiful paper pack and is perfect to use with this image. I splattered a little Clear Wink of Stella on the card front, as well as adding some to the stars (both inside and out). Lemon Lolly is such a great colour to use if you want to send a baby card but aren’t quite sure if the baby is a boy or girl!
My final card used the elephant image and just a little colouring so give a lighter result. The little chipmunk (if that is what it is) is trying to catch the very much larger elephant in his tiny net, and it amuses me! The paper is from the Delightfully Eclectic pack and meant I could call this a girl’s card by using Bubble Bath as my main colour. Across my three cards I have covered all eventualities!
