Gorgeously Made Elegant Monochromatic Card. Tonight I am sharing the card I made using the left over vellum die cut from last Thursday’s YouTube Live. I was having problems getting a really good cut, so didn’t use it on the day. All I actually needed to do was turn the die over so the cutting plate was on top. It cut beautifully!
I am entering this project into Kylie Bertucci’s International Blog Highlights. I wanted this card to be really simple, but with a WOW! factor. With this in mind I went for a classic Navy and White colour scheme. I stamped the background in Night of Navy using one of the foliage stamps in the set. I used the same ink on a strip of Basic White card for the sentiment strip, carefully lining the sentiment up between each impression. Die cutting with the note paper die seemed an obvious step to me.
The Vellum is adhered with tiny dots of Multi Purpose Liquid Glue and ‘trapped behind the sentiment strip, which is adhered with Tear & Tape. A few Iridescent Pearls finished the project off
