Craft and Chat LIVE Replay with Liz – Coffee with Friends Stampin’ Up! Well, yesterday was another day with technical issues, but we made it! I know I shouldn’t say this, but I LOVE the cards we made together.
First up was a card inspired by a card Emma Goddard recently shared. The main colours I used were Lost Lagoon and Pecan Pie, which appears to be a match made in heaven!
Some simple stamping and some fussy cutting were all that was needed for the image and sentiment. I added some stripes of colour using Stampin’ Blends on the Nested Essentials die cut. A few layers of ribbon and some Tinsel Gems finish the card off.
Next I used another of the Nested Essentials dies for the single lady sitting, this fits perfectly, leaving room for the sentiment underneath. I added Lemon Lolly and Crumb Cake to my colours for this card, which meant I could also bring in the lovely Sheer Ribbon.
I used the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing folder for the Crumb Cake layer to add some additional texture, which makes such a difference to the finished card, which could have looked a little flat otherwise (no pun intended!)
