#SimpleStamping Saturday with Stampin’ Up! Easter Bunny. What a few hours I have had. Apparently someone has decided that it would be fun to set up a fake YouTube account in my and then leave inappropriate comments on other Demos’ Live Videos (well on mine too if truth be told!). Sadly there is nothing much I can do to stop them either.

Hence the late posting of this set of #SimpleStamping Saturday projects. But here we are now, so let’s get started.

#SimpleStamping Version

This stamp set is good for so many occasions, so don’t be fooled by the title. I can see this being used for birthdays, birth announcements, cards for younger people and so much more.

For my first card I simply stamped one of the bunnies in Tuxedo Black and then added the flowers and sentiment. I chose to colour the images with our wonderful Watercolor Pencils (set 1), simply by layering up the colour to get the shading I wanted.

Colouring like this is so relaxing, very little thought is required, you just add layer after layer of colour until you have the look you are after.

Stepped Up Version

For my first stepped up version I stamped the flowers first and then used the stamp stamp on a piece of Masking Paper. I fussy cut around the main flowers and placed this over the original flowers before stamping the bunny over the top. The result is that the bunny is wearing a floral headress.

This time I coloured the image in Blends and then added some splatter using the Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker. I then stamped the sentiment on a strip of Basic White card.

To finish the project off, I cut down the Basic White layer and, using Dimensionals, added this to the card front, which had a layer of Pear Pizzazz DSP on it. The finishing touch was to use some Fun Flowers Resin Shapes around the card.

Further Stepped Up Version

My final card is not a huge step up from the previous version, but does use more products. This tie I stamped the image and fussy cut around it. I ran the Pear Pizzazz DSP through my Cut & Emboss using one of the new Basics 3D Embossing Folders (one of our Online Exclusive Products).

I added some Pear Pizzazz card that I had die cut with the Blooming Happiness Dies before adding the embossed DSP. To make the bunny ‘pop’, I added this with Dimensionals.

Again, I finished the card off with the addition of some of the Fun Flowers Resin Shapes. May I just say how much I LOVE this little Bunny. There is a Bunny Punch that is currently out of stock, but coming back in early in April. I am hoping that the punch and stamp set will carry over to the new Annual Catalogue. Keep your fingers crossed!!
