#SimpleStamping Saturday with Enjoy the Adventure. If you caught my YouTube Live on Thursday you may have heard me mention that this week’s #SimpleStamping Saturday projects were going to be a little different. And they are.
This week I am highlighting the Enjoy the Adventure Memories and More Pack in the Mini Catalogue. There are packs of matching Note Cards and Envelopes too, making quick and easy cards an absolute breeze. Just look at the two I made this week.
First up is a card that is clearly a Thank You Card. The colours in the pack include Mint Macaron, Balmy Blue,Petal Pink and Mango Melody. I wanted a Mint Macaron ribbon and embellishments, so I chose the Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon, which does a very good impression of Mint Macaron.
I also added some of the Festive Pearls that were in the last Mini Catalogue, but are still available over at my online store. Both the ribbon and the Pearls work perfectly with this card.
My second card used the yellow Note Card, this time I used a colourful floral for the background and used the very colourful ‘Hello’ card for the top layer.
This time both the ribbon and the embellishments were the ‘correct’ colour, both being Petal Pink. I especially like the Soft Polyester Ribbon used in a zigzag behind the layer, this gives the wanted look of ribbon, but without the bulk of a bow (which puts the postage up in the UK!) Of course the Elegant Faceted Gems have been a favourite of mine since they first came out, so no surprise that I have used them here.
