#SimpleStamping Saturday – Adorable Owls. I hope you are as excited as I am for the return of #SimpleStamping Saturday, the day when I take one basic card design and share 3 ways of making it with you. I start with the most simple and then add extra products and techniques for each of the stepped up versions. Today I am featuring the Adorable Owls Stamp Set, which you could choose FREE if you place an order of at least £45/€60 in my online store.
#SimpleStamping Version
My first version is really simple to make, using one of our Basic White Note Cards, a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad and our first set of Watercolour Pencils. That’s it, nothing more. Of course, because this is a #SimpleStamping Project, I have added some decoration to the front of the envelope, simply stamping part of the owl again.
Stepped Up Version
For my first stepped up version I have added A4 card, a punch (Decorative Circle), some Adhesive Backed Sequins, Stampin Blends and FREE Paper (Dandy Designs, 48 sheets of 12 x 12″ paper), yours to choose if you spend at least £90/€120. I simply layered the paper onto the Tahitian Tide Card Layer before wrapping twine around the layers and tying in a bow. The owl is stamped in Tuxedo Black again, but this time I coloured it with Stampin Blends. The final touch was to punch the owl out using the Decorative Circle Punch, adding it to a Tahitian Tide Punched piece.
Further Stepped Up Version
OK, so I admit I did add rather a lot of extra products for this project. Firstly I die cut the Paper with the Dots & Spots Die. I die cut the owl and the sentiment using the Stylish Shapes Dies and then layered that onto a Tahitian Tide piece die cut with the Layering Circle Dies. The rest of this card is the same as the previous version.

I love it when you make the cards 3 different ways and these are all so cute! I like the stepped up versions usually the best.
