Saturday Studio Tour. I have been promising to do a Studio Tour for a while now, so now that I have my new Phone Gimbal, I thought I would give it a go and do the tour all in one.
A couple of things to know about the studio first. The room is at the back of our garage and is wonderfully light an airy, but the counter to that is that it is not a great space for storing anything you don’t want bleached by the sun, so with that in mind, most of my storage is in drawers and cupboards, so you wont see any of those wonderful displays of card stock all in pretty rainbow order.
The other thing you will notice is that there are no seats, other than a rocking stool to perch on (that I rarely use). I have had the’joys’ of sciatica for a few years now and have found that sitting for long periods of time makes it a lot worse, so I stand for most of the day. As I have been doing this for years I am very use to it now, but it takes quite a while to get use to and is very tiring to begin with. If you have any back problems I would urge you to give it a try, but do bear in mind that it will take a month or two before you are comfortable with standing all day.
