Chat and Craft LIVE REPLAY with Liz – Featuring Snowman Magic. On the basis of ‘Better Late than Never’ I held my YouTube Live on Wednesday morning. Usually I would hold this on a Tuesday morning, but after I had been away in Vienna for a week, my laptop decided it would have a hissy fit and just not work properly. It took me most of Tuesday to sort this out, but it is now all better!

I started by making a simple Shaker Card using the Snowman Dies and the fabulous snowflake window die cut from White Glimmer Paper. Some Window Sheet behind and Fresh Freesia ribbon was all the decoration I needed on the front of the shaker card. For the back of the shaker card I heat embossed the sentiment in Silver before adding this to the card front and adding some sequins in a pile.

My sequins were a mix of what I had in my stash, but included the For Everything Fancy Sequins in blue. Once these were in a pile, I added Adhesive Foam Strips to the back of my card front and added this to the Fresh Freesia layer. Such a fun card!

Next I wanted to make a selection of Kraft Notecards to show just how quickly you can make a really cute set. The Snowman Magic Stamp Set has so many small images that it is perfect for these cards, using just a simple die cut shape and a small image. Adding some ribbon and embellishments is optional.

My first example used the little bunny image, which I coloured with some Stampin’ Blends and Clear Wink of Stella before adding to my card with a short piece of the White and Balmy Blue ribbon. A few embellishments were a final addition to the card.

Just look at how cute this little chap is. There is no need to add anything more, but you could of course add a sentiment. I think this card would be perfect for a Baby Shower or announcement.

Next up I have a card that I would be very happy to give on Valentine’s Day. I used one of the really tiny stamps, a heart, stamped in Melon Mambo ink. I coloured the White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon with Melon Mambo and Color Lifter Stampin’ Blends to get an ombre effect, before adding this to the back of the die cut.

The final touch were some Polished Pink Opal Rounds to help to bring the stamped image to the centre focal point. Just three embellishments placed around the image will bring the recipients gaze in to the stamped image.

Next up I have a little bird stamped in Crumb Cake and on a Snowman Arm Branch, extended with a Soft Sued Stampin’ Write Marker. I used the arm stamp to show that you can use stamps for more than their original purpose.

I kept this card REALLY simple with just a few embellishments around the image to bring the focus in to the bird. So simple.

My final card in this series used the holly and berry stamp. I added colour with the Evening Evergreen and Real Red Stampin’ Write Markers, before adding some Evening Evergreen ribbon behind the image.

Again, just three Evening Evergreen embellishments finished the card. I think this may be my favourite of them all, it is just so simple to make, but so effective.
