Top Tip Tuesday – Easy Sentiment Positioning. Today’s tip is one of those tips that is so easy once you know about it. It is all about positioning sentiments (or images) in EXACTLY the right place. To be clear, I am not talking about getting the sentiment straight, this is purely about placement.
I don’t know if I am alone with this, but changing the placement of a sentiment by a tiny amount can make a HUGE difference to the look of the final project. This can be difficult to get right, but I have the solution, and it is so simple. All you need is a piece of acetate and a Stamparatus. You simply place your sentiment in your Stamparatus (making sure it is straight) then add your project so the area you think you want the sentiment is under the stamp. Lay a piece of acetate between the stamp and the project, ink up your sentiment and stamp it on the acetate. You can now move the project around until the sentiment is in the perfect place.
Clean your acetate and remove it. Ink up your sentiment again and stamp it onto your project for PERFECT placement. Such an easy tip to use, but the BEST result!
