Top Tip Tuesday – 5 Ways to use Soft Pastels from Stampin’ Up! Today I am sharing some really easy ways to use our Soft Pastels Assortment. There are many more than 5 ways, but these are some of my favourites.
The 5 I have chosen to highlight today including classics such as using cotton buds to add soft colour. But my favourites from today’s selection are using a Water Painter to make chalk ‘paint’ and using Versa Mark to catch the pastels to give a coloured outline. This latter technique gives the softest of finishes. I found that using Shimmer White card gave the best results if you are using water or rubbing alcohol.
I don’t have much more to say about today’s Top Tip that isn’t already covered in the Video Tutorial, so I will leave it there and hand over to my alter ego.
