Customer Card Kits for May 2022 Customers. By the time this post goes ‘Live’ I am hoping that my May customers will have received their Thank You packs from me. Today I am sharing the cards I designed for May’s shoppers, and am so pleased with how they turned out. They are always a bit of a challenge because I can’t send stamped images, so rely on dies and punches for the main elements.
My first card uses the Pretty Birds Bundle. I die cut a couple of the birds from the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper, which is perfect for budgerigars. The birdcage is die cut in Thick Basic White, which I had remembered to add our Adhesive Sheet to the back of, turning it into a sticker.
A piece of Vellum, embossed with our Hive 3D Embossing folder, was perfect for the background layer, torn to add more interest and texture. The finishing touches are a heat embossed ‘HELLO’ (from the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set) and some Opal Rounds.
My second card uses the stunning Texture Chic Designer Series Paper and Distressed Gold Paper. I simply added a 3″ strip of paper to the left side of the card base, adding narrow strips of Distressed Gold under the edges. I punched the Vintage Bottle from the same Distressed Gold, adding a sprig of the Texture Chic Paper using the larger of the two Bough Punch designs.
To finish this card off, I simply added a Gold Heat Embossed sentiment on Evening Evergreen card from the Bottled Happiness Stamp Set. I hope you agree that both cards are really cute.
