I LOVE this kit, it is just perfect for small people to make, but also for adults to make for small people. No wait! Who says the cards are only suitable to give to small people? I can think of lots of people I would happily give one of these cards to.

On Tuesday I decided to make one of each of the designs in the kit to show everyone just how simple they are to put together. Because many of the elements are stickers, it really is small people friendly. You can make 3 of each of the designs, and you will be left with the stamps, ink and block to design your own projects. Read on to see my first ‘off-piste’ card.

One of my absolute favourite elements in the kit has to be the googly eyes, which are just such fun. What is great is that you will have a few of these left for your own projects, and of course I used some on mine!

Because the stamps in the Robot Buddies set are Photopolymer, they are so easy to use because you can see exactly where you are going to stamp. The kit also includes additional stickers and speech bubbles, so if there are any smudges or mis-sticking, you have extras available.

My card was inspired by this weeks Global Design Project sketch (above). I was interested to see that most of the projects the Design Team have made follow the sketch almost exactly, using flowers for their diagonal element. Not me!

As soon as I saw the Sketch I knew I had to use the new kit and that the cog stamps would be perfect as the confetti sprinkles. I stuck to the Kit colours as they work so well together, plus I wanted to use some of those Pumpkin Pie googly eyes. And ‘yes’ I did fussy cut the robot! Most of the cutting was very straightforward, so I am sure it would be easy to give it a go. Please let me know what you think of it in the comments below.
