Crafting LIVE REPLAY with Liz – Featuring Painted Posies 3D Embossing Folder. Time to catch up on some of the Live Videos I held over on my YouTube Channel last week. I am doing these in no particular order, but I hope you enjoy looking at them.
First I want to share a couple of cards I made using the stunning Painted Posies 3D Embossing Folder. This is a new folder in the 2022 – 2023 Annual Catalogue and is one of those really well hidden items; you can find it on page 177.
By simply running a piece of Basic White card through the Painted Posies 3D Embossing Folder, you have a quick and easy card front. Add a length of ribbon and a stamped and die cut sentiment and you are pretty close to a finished card.
Just add this to the front of your card base and then add a few Polished Dots and you have a stunning, elegant card. What could be easier?
Now for another way to use the folder. This time I ran my card through the folder in portrait, which works just as well as landscape. Now, please note that the photos don’t show the foil I used perfectly. Well, they sort of do, but what I am trying to say is that I used one of the new Rose Gold Foils. In the catalogue it is described as ‘iridescent’, but I think we all agreed on the Live that ‘holographic’ or ‘psychedelic’ are better words.
This time I added a heat embossed sentiment from the same Charming Sentiments stamp set/bundle. I chose to use Copper Embossing Powder as this has the same pink tone that Rose Gold has. Well that’s the theory anyway, and I think it worked. What do you think?
I added a length of the new Rose Gold & White Striped Ribbon towards the bottom of this card, it works perfectly with the foil and embossed sentiment. As the foil is such a strong element, I decided against adding any other embellishments as they would have been overpowered.
