Crafting LIVE REPLAY with Liz – Featuring Natures Prints Bundle. Did you catch my Live on Monday. It was one of the unscheduled videos I am doing during May to highlight lots of new items from the new Annual Catalogue. I made two cards using the Nature’s Prints Bundle, both are predominantly white, but with subtle amounts of Soft Sea Foam and Rose Gold respectively. The first card being the one using the new Rose Gold Foil for a few die cuts.
I started by using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder with Basic White card. To this I added some Matte Rose Gold Foil die cuts and just one in the Iridescent foil (great in small doses!)
The label die is included in the Bundle and is perfect for a bit of surgery, so I die cut it in Rose Gold Iridescent foil and split it in half before adding this to the back of the Basic White Label. I had heat embossed the sentiment in Copper Embossing Powder as this has that same ‘pink’ touch that you find in the Rose Gold.
Next up I decided to use the wreath die, again cutting it in Basic White Thick. I added a bit of subtle colour to the Basic White mat by stamping the ‘splat’ in Soft Sea Foam ink. The stamp is perfectly shaped to form a loose circle, so this was very straightforward.
I used the same technique of splitting the label, this time in Soft Sea Foam. Shall I let you into a little secret? I die cut the label from the middle of the Soft Sea Foam layer! The sentiment looked a little lost in Soft Sea Foam, so I used Soft Succulent instead.
