Live Crafting REPLAY with Liz – Featuring Ranunculus Romance take TWO!! For those of you who follow my YouTube Channel, you will have spotted that I have had more than a few issues with streaming over the past couple of weeks. Thankfully (she says, with fingers crossed) this appears to have been resolved and was an issue with our Internet provider.
Having started these projects 2 weeks ago, I finally got to finish them yesterday, plus I made an extra after the Live using one of the Layering Mask backgrounds.
For my first card I stamped the script image across the Pool Party masked background using Crumb Cake, deliberately stamping at angles so it looked intentional.
I finished the card off with a few die cuts (in Crumb Cake and Mother of Peral), some Linen Thread and Polished Dots (this month’s FREE Gift with a Qualifying Order).
My second card uses a fully stamped background using the same script stamp in Crumb Cake, plus the Eiffel Tower and ‘Lillie’ stamps in Pool Party and Petal Pink respectively. Again, I used deliberate angles for the stamping.
I added the same Linen Thread with some more die cuts, including two coloured with Stampin’ Write markers.
Because I am a huge fan of ODD numbers, I am not convinced by this card, with two very obvious die cuts. I am thinking I should have added a third to the left, making a full row of Ranuculus. FUN FACTS: did you know that the plural of Ranuculus is Ranuculus? Also, did you know they are part of the Buttercup family?
My final card for this post uses the background I made during the Live, but that I decided not to use. It is in So Saffron, using the Butterflies & Flowers Layering Decorative Masks.
My tip for using the layering masks, especially in a light colour, such as So Saffron, is to put the darker layer down first so you can find it through the mask when you come to add the lighter layer.
Yes, I did use up all of the left over die cuts on this card, adding some of the Sheer Pool Party Ribbon as well as some more of those Polished Dots.
I have an ordering special for qualifying orders placed between 1st and 31st March that use the following Host Code:
Orders of AT LEAST £40 (before P&P) will receive the Polished Dots as a gift from me. This is in ADDITION to my usual Thank You Card, Gift and Reward Vouchers. EVERYONE using the Host Code (or placing an order of £150 or more) will receive the March Customer Card Kits too. Please note that there is only one Gift Pack per customer per month.
