Live Crafting REPLAY with Liz – Featuring All Together Collection. Have you seen the new All Together Collection yet? It is simply wonderful. It is available to customers now, until 2nd May, at which point some of the items will disappear, assuming they have not sold out by then. Only the Stamp set and Natural Tones Blends will carry over to the new Annual Catalogue, so if you want the matching Here for You Dies or the All together Paper, you need to order these soon as they will NOT be back in stock once they are gone!
On my regular YouTube Live, I made three fun cards featuring the papers and showing a variety of ways to colour them for individual looks, and I then made a fourth one immediately after the Live. First I made one with pops of Magenta Madness.
I coloured the small white hearts on the paper with the Dark Magenta Madness Blend and the coloured the Mother of Pearl Paper in the same colour before die cutting it and a couple of layers of Basic Black card with the same die.
I found that the Blends react slightly to the Mother of Pearl Paper when you try to add a second layer of colour, so please bear this in mind. But the effect of the Mother of Peral paper still shows through the colour and the result is really shiny. I added a small die cut heart to the bottom corner of the card too. I finished the card by matting it on Basic White and a Magenta Madness card base.
My second card used the clasped hands images, each of which was coloured with the new Natural Tones Blends. I cut the image down and matted it on some Petal Pink card. Because I wanted to mount this square as a diamond, I made sure to trim everything as much as possible.
I had selected a Petal Pink card base and wanted to use some Petal Pink Ribbon as well. To provide a good background for all of this, I ran a piece of Basic White card through the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder before wrapping a length of ribbon around and adding a ‘knot’.
My next card, on a Poppy Parade Base, uses the paper that has hands reaching up, which, again, I coloured with the new Blends, and then added some narrow strips of Basic Black card to form a faux mat.
I coloured the black and white heart paper with Dark Poppy Parade Blend and added to a mat of Basic Black. The ‘reaching hands’ were added across the front of the card and trimmed to size.
To finish off the card I added an Early Espresso sentiment, matted on Poppy Parade and added with Dimensionals. I selected Early Espresso ink, rather than Black, because there are lots of brown tones and Early Espresso is so dark that it is almost Black.
The last card is on a Basic White base and has a Basic Black Mat and the grid pattern, coloured with the same Blends, to form a ‘fade’ across the card.
I stamped and coloured the hands/heart image with the Light Natural Blends (SU1000 and SU900), before die cutting and then adding a Poppy Parade ‘heart’ between the hands.
The words and hearts are cut from Poppy Parade. The words are two layers of card thick and added at an angle, for a bit of fun. I added the hands at the same angle, before adding the hearts to finish the card. I have listed all the options for the All Together Collection in my Shopping List below.
What do you think? I am loving the new All Together Collection and will soon be launching a Stamp Camp using this Collection. This is subtly different to a Card Class as it includes a few more designs, but with with all of them being quick and easy to finish. Although the kit will include part packs of the Paper and a few coordinating items (card, envelopes, ribbon, embellishments etc), the Class directions will also be available FREE if you order the whole All Together Collection in my online store. Keep your eyes peeled for details soon!
