YouTube Live Crafting REPLAY with Liz – Featuring Island Vibes. Well, I think I can honestly say that we were all a bit surprised by the Island Vibes Stamp Set during my last YouTube Live. I think it is one you need to get so you can see just how amazing it really is.
I started by stamping three of the leaf images in Garden Green, before fussy cutting them and layering them onto my card front. The tree in the pot is stamped using Stampin’ Write Markers and, again, is fussy cut before adding to the front of the card.
A piece of Faux Suede Trim grounds the images, and a sentiment from Special Moments (another of the FREE Sale-a-Bration Items) finishes the card front. All added to a Garden Green card base with Dimensionals.
Next up it was time for lots of Pineapples. This time I stamped the background using Cinnamon Cider ink on Cinnamon Cider card. Just look at the detail in that stamped background. I matted this onto some Gold Specialty Paper from the Annual Catalogue, which I ‘gutted’ to save some for later.
My sample had a fussy cut Pineapple over the background, but on the YouTube Live, I switched for one of the Tailor Made Tags. The image was coloured with Stampin’ Write Markers before stamping onto Basic White Card. Some Gold Pearls finished the cards off.
The final card was a bit of a race against time as I was due to meet my husband for a walk about 5 minutes after I started it. The image is stamped in the same way as the previous card, using the amazing Stampin’ Write Markers.
A narrow layer, some ribbon and a stamped sentiment finished the card off in double quick time. I was just in time to catch my husband for our afternoon walk around the village. We did get rather muddy, but it was great fun.
