Today I am sharing the first project I have made using the new Amazing Silhouettes stamp set. This is one of the sets I was given because I attended our Annual OnStage Event, which is the largest gathering of Demonstrators each year, being able to hang out with so many likeminded people is such fun. Obviously, because of the current situation, we did this remotely, but we still got to ‘hang out’ with our friends and Team Members on Zoom and WhatsApp. It was almost as good as being together.
I have gone for a simple stamped image, but dressed the project up by adding layers, ribbon and jewels in the same Polished Pink. The Sentiment is added on a Tag for a little extra touch and is from the FREE Special Moments Sale-a-Bration stamp set.
I decided to use a Black Card Base so that there is a real contrast between the Polished Pink. I love a strong pink against black, it is a ‘go to’ combination for me and has worked perfectly this time.
This project also shows how perfectly the various coloured elements match. It is one of the major benefits that Stampin’ Up! brings us, their amazing colour coordination. In this example you have card, ink, ribbon and jewels all matching perfectly.
