YouTube Live Crafting REPLAY with Liz – Featuring Poinsettia Petals and Dies. On today’s YouTube Live we moved away from the current Mini Catalogue and looked at Christmas Products from the Annual Catalogue. I chose to use the Poinsettia Petals stamp set and dies, which carried over from last year’s Mini Catalogue.

I chose to die cut the flowers and leaves from the Gold and Rose Gold Metallic Specialty  Paper. I layered this onto a piece of Evening Evergreen Shimmer Vellum, which was embossed with the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder (which is carrying over to the next Annual Catalogue!). To add a little dimension to the elements, I used a bone folder to add a slight curl to all of the elements and then added Dimensionals behind them before adhering them with glue dots. Adding the Dimensionals helps to keep the depth you added with the bone folder.

I had added a length of Open Weave Ribbon across the front of the Vellum, although most of it is covered, it does still show enough to make it worthwhile. The finishing touches were to heat emboss the ‘Merry Christmas’ and fussy cut it before adding it to the card. Some Brushed Metallic Dots, and a stamped leaf on the inside of the card, finished the card off.
