YouTube Live Crafting REPLAY with Liz – Featuring Knit Together – Forgive the quality! Do you ever have one of those days when you wonder why you bothered getting out of bed? Today is one of those days.
Things started reasonably well. The guy who was due to come and fit our Electric Vehicle Charge Point arrived on time and was happy to get on with the installation, needing very few questions answered. Then there was a power cut! No idea what caused this, it certainly was NOTHING to do with the installation. This was the point when things just started to go down hill.
Knowing that the power in my studio was going to have to be turned off at some point to finish the installation (my studio is behind the garage and on the same electric circuit), I powered off my laptop before going to the house for lunch. BIG MISTAKE!
When I had finished my lunch I powered up the laptop and, although it rebooted alright, something was obviously not happy, so I decided to reboot again. This was about half an hour before I was due to start my YouTube Live. An hour later the ‘Getting Ready to update your computer – Don’t turn your computer off’ message was still front an centre.
Faster than a bullet I decided to go Live using my Mobile. Let’s just say it worked, but to say more than that is to be overly positive. I was going to record a video to replace the Mobile Live, but I have decided to leave it in place. I tell my Team that it is better to turn up and do something, than to not turn up because things are not perfect. Well this proves the point.
