Happy & Heartfelt Stamp Set Meets 2021 – 2023 InColors. If you saw my post earlier this week using the, soon to retire, 2020-2022 InColors, you may remember that I mentioned I was going to share a project using the 2021-2023 InColors too. Well, here it is! If you missed the earlier one, you can see it HERE.
This card uses the same principle as the previous one, but rather than die cutting the finished layer, I have added it to a card base as it is. I know I said it on the previous version, but this is a fantastic way to use up those narrow strips of card we all keep ‘just in case’, but that end up just being annoying.
I started with a slightly larger piece of Basic White and just laid the strips down until I had covered the whole piece. I then cut it down to my layer size (see below) before adding it to another piece of Basic White. The sentiment is simply heat embossed in white and cut with the Pick a Banner Punch.
To finish the card, I wrapped a piece of Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon around the lower third and added a bow. The sentiment is layered over the ribbon and I then added some of the InColor Jewels in Evening Evergreen before adding the piece to an Evening Evergreen Card Base.
