YouTube Live Crafting REPLAY with Liz – Featuring Sweet Stockings. I had such a blast making today’s cards with the Sweet Stockings Suite. This is such a fun Suite of products and I haven’t used it nearly enough.
Today’s cards are inspired by some that I found on Pinterest. This is such a fantastic resource, but can be a little bit of a rabbit hole, taking hours out of my day. Happily I did remember that I was due to be Live on YouTube, and actually started on time. Do you subscribe to my YouTube Channel yet? I always have 2 Live Videos in a week, plus a few additional, recorded videos.
This first card is a combination of a number of cards I found on Pinterest, so I am not sharing the original designer because I am not actually sure who that would be! It is really quite a simple card to make, simply die cut circles using the smallest 3 dies in the Layering Circles Die set, add some contrasting paper behind the circles and add your furry friends peeking out of the circles.
This second card is inspired by Lisa Hardie (sweetpaperstudios,com) who shared a very similar one on Pinterest. I love the design so much that I had to have a go at replicating it with my own little twist.
I the video I share a couple of tips on masking and fussy cutting. Both of these techniques are amazing once you have them in your arsenal. Neither is difficult and my tips should help get you on your way to success quickly.
