#SimpleStamping Saturday – Sweets and Treats again! Other Saturday and another set of #SimpleStamping Saturday projects. A quick and late post today as I am writing this in between helping with the Village Produce Show.
This was such a quick card to make. I simply stamped the cake stand and 2 cupcakes on a Basic White Note Card, added another cupcake to the front of the envelope and then a sentiment. The images on the card are stamped in Tuxedo Black, the cupcake on the envelope and the sentiment are in Melon Mambo. Some quick colouring with Watercolour Pencils and I was done!
Stepped Up Version
For my first stepped up version I added some coloured card and FREE Hand Penned Paper and repeated the stamping from the #SimpleStamping version, but this time coloured in Stampin’ Blends. I trimmed the images down and rounded the corners, before adding to the card front with Dimensionals.
For some added ‘bling’, I coloured some Basic Rhinestones with Melon Mambo Blends, before adding them to the front of the card. I moved the sentiment to the inside, still stamped in Melon Mambo.
Further Stepped Up Version
I changed colour for my final version, using Fresh Freesia in place of the Melon Mambo. I added some Ink Blending behind the images, which I fussy cut, before adding these with Dimensionals.
I coloured some Be Dazzling Paper with Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends and then added some InColor Jewels, also in Fresh Freesia. Personally, this is my favourite version, which is just as well as it is the version I am sending to all my August Shoppers, with their ‘Thank You’ packs.
