Delicate Dahlias – Black or White?? OK, so this is serious stuff. If you want to get your hands on ANY of the Sale-a-Bration items then you only have until 11pm on 30th September to place a qualifying order. That is only TOMORROW!!
I have used 2 Sale-a-Bration items in today’s projects, the Delicate Dahlias Stamp Set and the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper. I thought I would make the same card, but change just one main element to see which I preferred.
As you can probably spot, the cards are identical, other than the colour of the heat embossing and the embellishment. I am sure that my regular followers will not be surprised to find that I have had my Paper Snips out again, fussy cutting the flower and the leaves. I love this as a technique so much, I just can’t stop myself (I have even been known to fussy cut images that I have dies for!).
You may also notice that the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper is not the colour you might expect. That is because I have coloured it with my Dark Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blend. You need to be a little careful doing this, or you could damage the brush nip of your pen, but if you gently run the edge of the brush tip over the Be Dazzling. Look at how pretty it becomes!
For the inside of both cards I stamped the small floral in Magenta Madness in the bottom left corner. I love a little touch like this to help bring the outside to the inside of the project.
But, the question still stands. Which do you prefer? Would you rather receive the black heat embossed version?
Or would you rather have white with the Pearls? I really can’t decide which is my favourite. When I was making them I changed my mind all the time, so please let me know which is your choice!
I have an ordering special for qualifying orders placed between 1st and 30th September that use the following Host Code:
Orders of AT LEAST £50 (before P&P) will receive a full reel of the White Glittered Organdy Ribbon from the new Mini Catalogue, as a gift from me. This is an amazing ribbon because it can be ANY colour you want it, simply by colouring it with Stampin Blends or Stampin’ Write Markers! This is in ADDITION to my usual Thank You Card, Gift and Reward Vouchers. EVERYONE using the Host Code (or placing an order of £150 or more) will receive the September Customer Card Kit. Please note that there is only one Gift Pack per customer per month.
