Angels of Peace for Creating with Kindness Blog Hop. Welcome to the September Creating with Kindness Blog Hop and our theme for today of Stamping Techniques. Our Guest Designer this month is Colleen Johnson, who is a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Queensland, Australia.
My project for today uses the Angels of Peace stamp set that is in the new Mini Catalogue and is just so elegant. Because of the elegance of the large image, I felt it needed very special treatment.
Not only did I Heat Emboss it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder, I also used the Alcohol and Stampin Blends Technique that is so popular at the moment. You can see exactly how I did this in today’s video. I have a few tips for you, so it is well worth a look.
I fussy cut my Angel, which is so easy on vellum and then added it to a piece of Gold Shimmer Vellum that had been embossed with the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder. Again, there are lots of tips about adhering vellum in my Video Tutorial today.
So, what do you think? Do you like the card? Will you give some of the tips I have shared in my video a go? Now why not follow the hop by choosing from the list below? I am sure you will want to see what the other Design Team Members have come up with.
