Coffee & Cards REPLAY with Counting Sheep Stamps and Dies. I had such fun yesterday morning making this card, such a clever idea. I found the inspiration for this card on Pinterest, specifically a Pin from Jen Morgano of CardnMum. You can find her original Blog Post about this card HERE. As you can see, mine is very similar, but when I saw it I just knew I had to make it. Please do take the time to look at Jen’s original.
The real joy of this project is obviously the fun idea, but it is also that the Counting Sheep stamps and Sheep Dies are FREE items that you can choose during Sale-a-Bration. BUT a quick word of warning, we have been told that once the dies sell out, they will NOT be replaced, so if you want them I urge you to get them early. I should add that you can get the dies and stamps separately and that each is a Level 1 item, so yours for any spend over £45/€60.
I used one of the Basic Border dies to make a mask for the clouds, but you could also cut one free hand. The key is to move the mask horizontally between each layer of ink so you get a different outline each time. You can see what I mean by watching the video tutorial below. The sheep are REALLY easy to colour, and I mean they took longer to die cut than to colour. As they have a real cartoon feel to them, I don’t see any point in spending too much time trying to get realistic colouring. I did add a ‘black sheep’ for a bit of fun, I mean it had to be done!
I hope you enjoyed this project. Please remember to visit Jen’s website to see her original of this. My mind is now thinking of which other animals could I have jumping over my fence……off to check my stamps now to see what could work.
