Layering Hugs Dies – Take 2. Did you catch my #SimpleStamping Saturday projects last weekend? You can take a look HERE if you missed out. Once I got started using this Bundle I just couldn’t stop, so I didn’t.
The look of grey and yellow together is really special and just ‘works’, so thought I would try that combination for this card. I have used Gray Granite and So Saffron, the warmth of the Gray Granite goes so well with the softness of the So Saffron without either of them becoming too overpowering.
To get a bit of a stacked look for the word I die cut two sets of letters in So Saffron and one in Gray Granite, this helps to keep the Gray Granite from taking over, especially as it is the main colour in the project.
I felt that the card needed a little something extra, so pulled out my reel of Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon, which of course is the perfect match to the card and added an extra texture to the project.
A simple card that took almost no time to put together, but looks, to the uninitiated, like it took a lot of work. I am sure anyone would like to receive a card like this. If you would like to make a card similar to this, then you are in luck, because a version of this will be one of the card kits I will be sending out to anyone who shops with me in June and uses the Host Code, or who orders over £150 in one order.
